As we evolve into a digitally-forward organization, we’re seeking a sharp, proactive Sales & Growth Strategist who can lead our business development efforts and drive measurable growth through strategic client acquisition and conversion.


Role Summary:

We’re looking for a dynamic professional who understands the nuances of technical sales in construction, architectural, and industrial services. The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle—from identifying and qualifying leads, initiating conversations through calls and emails, conducting follow-ups, to converting them into long-term clients. This role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

  1. Perform structural analysis and design for RCC and steel structures.
  2. Prepare detailed design reports, BOQs, and structural drawings.
  3. Ensure structural integrity and compliance with IS codes and standards.
  4. Collaborate with architects, MEP teams, and construction professionals.
  5. Visit project sites for inspection and coordination during execution stages.
  6. Use software tools such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, and Revit Structure.
  7. Review and validate structural drawings and models.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify, contact, and engage potential clients such as contractors, consultants, builders, government departments, and developers.
  2. Promote and explain BBAPL’s multidisciplinary services in response to specific client requirements.
  3. Understand client needs and suggest appropriate technical solutions.
  4. Coordinate with the technical team to prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and supporting documents.
  5. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and follow-ups using Excel or CRM tools.
  6. Conduct cold calls, and virtual meetings as required to drive client engagement.
  7. Conduct technical discussions in coordination with senior engineers when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify high-potential B2B leads through platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases, referrals, and networking.
  2. Initiate contact via cold calls, personalized email campaigns, and follow-ups using tools like Lemlist, Instantly, or similar platforms.
  3. Understand client requirements, present customized solutions, and pitch relevant services aligned with our technical capabilities.
  4. Create impactful sales proposals and pitch decks using Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Canva.
  5. Manage and optimize the entire sales pipeline through CRM tools such as HubSpot or Zoho.
  6. Track key sales metrics, analyze market trends, and refine outreach strategy for better conversion rates.
  7. Collaborate closely with the technical and leadership teams to align sales efforts with project capabilities and growth targets.
  8. Maintain consistent communication with prospects and clients throughout the sales journey until conversion and onboarding.


Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  2. 5–7 years of relevant experience in structural design and analysis.
  3. Proficient in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is a plus.
  4. Strong understanding of IS codes, detailing practices, and structural behavior.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  6. Experience in project coordination and client interaction is preferred.

Qualifications

  1. Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant technical field (mandatory).
  2. 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, site supervision, material testing, or technical business development.
  3. Strong understanding of civil engineering services, testing procedures, and consultancy processes.
  4. Proficient in written and verbal communication in both English and Hindi.
  5. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders confidently.
  6. Familiarity with government contracting or infrastructure sectors is an added advantage.
  7. Comfortable with using MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic CRM tools.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related fields (MBA/PGDM is a plus).
  2. 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, technical business development, or growth strategy, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or consultancy services.
  3. Proven track record of successfully generating and converting leads in a technical or industrial B2B setting.
  4. Deep understanding of sales funnels, consultative selling, and go-to-market strategies in service-based businesses.
  5. Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, and email outreach tools.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical services in a simplified manner.
  7. Self-motivated, performance-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic, evolving setup.
